Goals of the project

• make content of Worls Atlas of Language Structures online available
• provide various features to view and reuse WALS data (online version of WALS viewer)
• enhance and enrich the web application gradually
• ensure integration in the web (make data widely available, data exchange with other applications...)

• cooperation MPI EVA - MPDL (digital editions, living reviews)
• resources: livrev team, eva team (+ additional 2 yrs)

Status

• permission from Oxford to reuse material granted
• WALS prototype for presentation of data has been developed
• experimenting with text content (feature decriptions)
